Among the other qualifiers on Sunday were Jeff Gordon (2nd), Tony Stewart (5th), Denny Hamlin (7th), and defending champion Matt Kenseth (10th). Stewart will be gunning for his 19th victory at Daytona International Speedway, but for his first in the Daytona 500.
