Father-Daughter Trip to See the Cowboys
My Dad has been a life long Cowboys fan, and has always wanted to see them play in Arlington. Living in NY not like it’s a quick weekend trip, until we found Fandeavor!
Everything was taken care of.
My Step Mom and I started talking about his 50th Birthday in January about what we wanted to do for him. I said I would love to take Dad to a Dallas Cowboys game! And she ran with it, started looking around and came across Fandeavor. She sent me all the stuff you [Fandeavor] came up with, and we decided it was perfect. A few weeks later I got a confirmation email saying we were all set for the November 9th game!!!
This was the hardest thing to keep from my dad!! Let me tell you, we still had months till his Birthday! Its in August. The best gift from my step mom, I got to go with him. It was a just us weekend! I was thrilled!!!
We flew into Dallas, were picked up by the Hotel. We stayed at the Sheraton – within walking distance to the stadium. We got to the Hotel and then had a tour of the stadium. It was AMAZING! We got to see all over the stadium. We got to sit in Jerry’s box, go to the cheerleaders locker room, the players locker-room. The Press box. Learned lots of fun facts. And then we got to go down on the field and take our picture on the Blue Star. As we were walking out on the field I looked down and said, “Dad! Your 50 on the 50!!!”
Game day we had some time before the game we got some shopping in, the hotel even took us to a place to buy some boots! Because you HAVE to buy boots in Texas when you are there! We hit the tailgate party before the game. Decent food, free beer & margaritas! Dad was very excited to get to meet Billy Bates! Let me tell you those cowboys fans know how to tailgate! There were tents set up with huge lines of food and big screen TV’s and music from every direction all around the stadium. Our seats were amazing, and the game was great.
The trip was nothing short of amazing for the two of us. A much needed mini vacation and some awesome father/daughter bonding time.
Thank you Fandeavor! We will be back again!”
