Darlington Raceway, located in Darlington, South Carolina, is one of the oldest tracks in all of NASCAR. Darlington is nicknamed “The Lady in Black” and “The Track Too Tough to Tame” by NASCAR fans and drivers. The track is steeped with history and is advertised as “A NASCAR Tradition.” The track’s shape is a very unique egg-shaped design. This egg-shaped track makes it very challenging for the crews to set up their cars’ handling in a way that will be effective at both ends.
Almost every seat and section at Darlington has a good viewpoint and provides great value for fans.
Tyler Towers
These seats are high up, which is a good thing for NASCAR viewpoints. You’ll want to get Section D or Section S seats to have the best viewpoint of the start/finish.
Pro’s:
-The Tyler Tower is above Wallace Grandstands, so all the seats have great exposure to the entire track
-Great spot to see the front stretch
Con’s:
-Most expensive section at Darlington
Pearson Tower
These seats rank as some for the value in all of NASCAR. If you’re a fan of really being able to see what goes on during a race, these tower seats are something you really need to experience at least once.
Pro’s:
-Vantage point of the entire track
-Inexpensive
Con’s:
-Bench seats, can be uncomfortable without a pad
Colvin Grandstand
Pro’s:
