In less than two weeks time, the world-famous Las Vegas Motor Speedway will once again play host to one of the most exciting races on the Sprint Cup Series schedule – the Kobalt Tools 400. The 16th running of the Kobalt will see another extremely skilled and extremely fast field of drivers take the track at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and go 400 miles at top speeds. Tony Stewart was the fastest of them all last year, but will he repeat as champion of this premier Las Vegas NASCAR race in 2013? There will be plenty of other drivers who will have something to say about it.
Jimmie Johnson got off to a great start this season with a huge win at the Daytona 500 and there’s no doubt he’ll be one of Stewart’s top contenders at the Kobalt Tools 400 as well. However, Danica Patrick is making just as many headlines so far in 2013, as she became the first woman driver to capture the poll at Daytona and she is expected to have a great year in the cup chase as well.
